The Kasbah Holdall — Black & White Long-Hair Cowhide Duffle

Most cowhide is short — a dense, flat nap you feel more than see. This hide is the other kind. The hair runs long enough to move, deep enough to sink a fingertip into, and where the black meets the cream it doesn't draw a line so much as break like a wave — long pale strands scattering into the dark.
You cannot print that. You can barely photograph it.
The palette does the rest. Black and cream is the cowhide pattern everyone recognises, but rendered in long hair with black leather and brushed antique brass, it stops reading as ranch and starts reading as fashion — closer to a monochrome statement piece than to anything Western. It goes with a black coat. It goes with denim. It doesn't ask permission either way.
This is also the big one. At 55 centimetres and roughly 49 litres, it's the largest bag we make — a true holdall rather than a weekender. Four or five days of clothes. Two people's things for a shared weekend. The kit for the kind of trip where you'd rather carry one bag than two. Fair warning, honestly given: at this size it sits at the upper edge of most airline cabin allowances. It's soft-sided and it compresses, but if your carrier is strict, this is the bag you check or the bag you drive with.
Two rolled black leather handles for the hand. A detachable, adjustable shoulder strap on brass swivel clips for everything else — because 49 litres, fully loaded, belongs on a shoulder. Inside, a clean lined interior in warm taupe that makes finding things in a deep bag less of an archaeology project.
Cut and stitched by hand in our Marrakech workshop, from one hide, once. The wave where black breaks into cream on your bag will fall differently than it does in these photographs — it has to. That's what one-of-one means.

- One of a kind: Every hide differs in pattern, hair length and the way black transitions to cream. The bag you receive will not match these photographs — that is the nature of natural hide, not a defect.
- Care: Brush gently with a soft-bristled brush in the direction of the hair — especially worthwhile on a long-hair hide, where a thirty-second brush restores the whole surface. Spot clean with a barely damp cloth, air dry away from direct heat. Never soak, machine wash or dry clean. Condition the black leather trim with a neutral balm once or twice a year.
