The Medina Weekender — Handmade Black Leather Duffle Bag
The Medina Weekender — Handmade Black Leather Duffle Bag

This bag makes no argument for itself. No pattern, no contrast stitching, no hardware doing a job it doesn't need to do. Black leather, brass, two straps down the front. That's the entire design.
Which means there is nowhere for the construction to hide.
Look at where the handles meet the body: a triangular panel of leather, stitched through, anchoring the D-ring. On a cheaper bag that join is a rivet through a single layer, and it's the first thing to tear when you load it properly. Look at the ends — a compression buckle on each side, so a half-empty bag doesn't slump into a shapeless heap on the luggage rack. Look at the zip: two sliders on leather pulls, opening from either end, riding on a leather-backed track rather than exposed tape.
None of this is visible from across a room. All of it is why the bag will still be worth carrying in ten years.
The leather is full-grain, which is not a term we use loosely. It hasn't been sanded, corrected or plasticised to hide its history, so it will take marks — a scuff from a taxi boot, a darker patch where your palm sits on the handle. Within a year it will look lived-in. Within five it will look like yours specifically, which is the difference between something that ages and something that just wears out.
Inside: a lined interior with a zip pocket for a passport, a charger, the things you'd otherwise excavate the whole bag to find.
At 50 cm this carries two or three nights comfortably. A suit, shoes, a wash bag, a laptop. Soft-sided, so it gives when you need it to.
Handmade in our Marrakech workshop, cut and stitched by people who have been doing this longer than most brands have existed. Because it's made by hand, small variations in grain and finish are normal — this is leather, not laminate.
The quietest thing you'll pack. Probably the last one you'll need to buy.
