The Mogadoro Story

Mogadoro LLC is a US-registered company working directly with artisan workshops in Marrakech and the Atlas Mountains. We buy the pieces outright from the people who make them, hold them in our own warehouse in Marrakech, and ship them from Morocco. There is no third-party catalog behind this — if it is on the site, it exists, and one of our workshops made it. Mogadoro was born from a simple love affair with the timeless beauty of Moroccan craftsmanship. "Mogador" is the ancient name of Essaouira, a city where the wind meets the Atlantic, and where artisans have been weaving magic into materials for centuries.

Honoring the Artisan

Every jute bag, leather pouf, and hand-knotted rug in our collection is crafted by hand, not machines. We work directly with master artisans (Maalems) in Marrakesh and beyond, ensuring that the age-old techniques of tanning, weaving, and dyeing are preserved.
