The Bloom Evening Bag — Hand-Beaded Faux Pearl Occasion Purse

Every bead on this bag was threaded by hand into a flower.

That's the construction, and it's worth understanding before you look at anything else. Six oval faux-pearl beads make each petal; a cluster of tiny crystal rounds makes each centre; the flowers link edge to edge across the entire surface until the body of the bag disappears beneath them. There's no backing print, no glued panel — it's beadwork, built outward from a lattice, and it takes hours per bag.

The beads themselves are marbled acrylic in a pearl finish, so each one carries its own swirl of grey, dove, pewter and a cold blue undertone. Under evening light they don't flash like glass; they glow, unevenly, the way real shell does.

Then there are the crystals. Three faceted flower clusters sit across the front where the frame meets the body, one more at the base, and one on the end of the ribbon tie — the small deliberate sparkle that catches a room's light when everything else is behaving.

The details that make it wearable rather than just pretty:

A polished metal arch handle, rigid, sized to carry in the hand or hook over a wrist. Beneath it, a soft mauve pouch that gathers on a ribbon drawstring — so the bag closes properly rather than gaping, and the lilac against the grey beads is a genuinely lovely, slightly unexpected pairing. And a detachable chain shoulder strap, so it goes from a hand-carried piece across dinner to hands-free across a dance floor.
