Meet the makersDescription
Every evening in Jemaa el-Fna, crowds gather in circles, called halqa, around storytellers and musicians. This bag takes its name from those circles, and from the gold-tone rings that hold its handles.
The palm basket is woven by hand in Marrakech. Rolled leather handles hang from gold-tone rings, and a leather flap pocket on the front closes with two snaps, keeping your phone or sunglasses close. Choose it unlined, or with a zipped pouch inside to keep your essentials secure.

Each Halqa is woven and finished by hand, so small differences in weave and leather tone are part of its character, not flaws.
Care: Wipe the straw with a damp cloth and let it dry in the air. Condition the leather now and then. Keep white leather away from denim and long hours in direct sun.
