When summer gets too hot in Marrakech, people go up to the Ourika Valley, to rivers, shade and cool mountain air. This is the bag for days like that.
The basket is handwoven from palm leaves into a wide, generous shape. Long leather straps sit comfortably on the shoulder, and a leather pocket on the front, edged with gold-tone studs, keeps your sunglasses or phone within reach. It’s a natural straw bag finished like leather, for the beach, a long lunch, or a walk through town.

Each Ourika is handwoven and finished, so small differences in the weave and leather tone are part of its character, not flaws.
Care: Wipe the straw with a damp cloth, then let it air-dry. Condition the leather now and then. To reshape, mist the straw lightly and stuff it with paper while it dries.
